Version 1.5 of the MathFlow line of MathML publishing workflow components has been released. A major feature of this new release is the ability to work with XyEnterprise's XML Professional Publisher (XPP 7.3). more >

[2] MathType for Mac 5.1, Ready for Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger)
MathType 5.1 for Mac is compatible with Mac OS X v10.4 (Tiger).  MathType for Mac users are recommended to upgrade to 5.1 as they upgrade to Tiger. more >

[3] DSI Receives Second NSF Grant for Math Accessibility
Design Science received a phase 2 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to develop technology to make mathematics accessible in MS Word documents, Adobe PDF documents, and web pages. more >

After nearly two decades in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach, Design Science has relocated its world wide headquarters to downtown Long Beach. more >

Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 includes many new security enhancements, some of which can cause security warnings when reading MathML pages with MathPlayer plug-in. more >

[11] Seeing Equations Displayed as Empty or Shaded Boxes in Microsoft Word?
MathType equations in Microsoft Word may be replaced with empty boxes or appear in gray-shaded boxes.  A simple change to your Word preferences can fix this problem. more >
