Desire2Learn Learning Environment

MathType works with Desire2Learn and allows you to include mathematical notation in your course. Students or colleagues can open these equations in MathType to use elsewhere in Desire2Learn (D2L), or in Microsoft Word or one of hundreds of other apps & sites that MathType works with.

Desire2Learn is a learning management system (LMS). It has its own equation editor for mathematical notation, but you may find MathType easier to use. The steps on this page cover the use of MathType with D2L with or without their equation editor. Also, if you have MathType equations in existing work, you can easily use them in your Desire2Learn course.

With MathType and Desire2Learn (D2L), you can:

• Add an equation to Desire2Learn: You can copy and paste equations and expressions from MathType directly into Desire2Learn. How-to
