MathPlayer Download and Installation

Download MathPlayer for free!

Design Science MathPlayer™ enables Internet Explorer to display mathematical notation in web pages. It is based on MathML technology and requires Internet Explorer for Windows version 6.0 and later. We make MathPlayer available for free in order to foster the adoption of MathML in the Math, Science, and Education communities.

There are two versions of MathPlayer currently available:

MathPlayer 2.2: works on Internet Explorer 8 and earlier and is our solid, fully tested version.

    Download MathPlayer 2.2 (1.73MB)
MathPlayer 3.0 (Preview Release 1) is being made available for anyone to try before its official release. This version offers support for Internet Explorer 9, MathML 3, enhanced speech (multiple languages and styles for improved comprehension among those with reading-related learning disabilities), and improved rendering. While we have tested it and found it to be stable, it is not an official release and should not be distributed as such. If you use a screen reader we recommend not upgrading to Internet Explorer 9 because of a know bug. View/Report MathPlayer 3 bugs.
