Using MathType to Create Hard Copy Large Print Math Materials

Many students with visual impairments have a degree of useable vision and find large print materials to be a useful reading accommodation. One of the benefits of using MathType is that the same MS Word document used to create standard print math materials for classroom use can also be easily modified to print neat and easy to read large print documents.

If you need to create large print math materials on a regular basis, or only periodically, you will find MathType to be a very effective tool for this purpose. We have created a Technical Service Note to help guide MathType users through this process. Please refer to TechNote #118 for more information.
