The purpose of this page is to demonstrate a bug in Internet Explorer 6.0 with the handling of spaces in HTML code.
IE sometimes removes space following the </math> tag. It seems to do so when there is no start tag on the same line. For example, the following code renders with no space between "A" and "is incident":
<p style="font-size:24 pt">Point <m:math> <m:mi mathvariant="normal">A</m:mi> </m:math> is incident...</p>
Point
But, if we join the last two lines in the code, the space appears:
<p style="font-size:24 pt">Point <m:math> <m:mi mathvariant="normal">A</m:mi></m:math> is incident...</p>
