Getting Help
There are several ways to get help using Design Science MathType:
MathType's Online Help
If you need help understanding how a specific dialog works, just click the Help button
in that dialog to open MathTypes online help. If you need help understanding how
a menu command works, open the online help by choosing Table of Contents from the
Help menu. Then click on the Index tab and find the menu name. Go to the page that
describes the menu and find the section on that command. Alternatively, you can click on
the Search tab to search for the command.
Read the Tips & Tricks
Visit MathType Tips & Tricks to read short
tips on how to be more productive with MathType. When we release a new tip,
we'll announce it in our blog. To make sure you have the latest tips, you can
subscribe to the blog by

If you cant find the answer to your question in your
program help files, or your problem is not addressed in our
technical support notices, email our technical support
staff.
Email is the best
way to avoid trouble with time zone differences or waiting on hold when
our technical support staff are busy helping someone. Please include your
MathType product key in your email or specify if you are evaluating the
product.
We require that you register MathType and provide us with your
product key
via email or phone in order to receive technical support. For help finding your
product key, click here. If you are a MathType user and prefer telephone support, you can call us at
+1 (562) 432-2920, between 8am and 5pm, Pacific time (GMT-8),
Monday through Friday. Please have your
MathType product key ready and be sitting in front of your computer when
you call. As of this writing, we provide free technical support for MathType for
registered users. In order for us to provide this service and to keep it free, please try
to explore your other options for finding answers to your problem before calling us.
