Small MathType 1.0 Equations in Microsoft Word for Windows 2.0

The Problem
If you move a small equation (one or two characters) from its original
position and you wish to edit it, Word for Windows 2.0 may have trouble locating
it. There are two workarounds for this problem.
The first is as follows:
- Select the equation.
- Select Edit from Word’s menu bar. (In place of the option Edit Object,
Word will display MathType Equation Object).
- Select MathType Equation Object, this will bring you back into MathType
with the equation.
The second work-around is:
- Select the equation.
- Move the mouse over the equation until the mouse pointer turns into a
double arrow (The same arrow you use to size a window or graphic).
- Then double click the mouse and the MathType window will open with the
equation ready to edit.
